MONROE, LA 鈥� 91茄子 is preparing to crown its new titleholders for 2024. The 70th Titleholders Competitions will be held over the weekend of November 17-19听 to determine who will represent the university as Miss 91茄子, Mr. 91茄子, and Miss 91茄子鈥檚 Teen. 听

The 6th annual Mr. 91茄子 Competition will be held Friday, November 17 at 6:00 p.m., the 70th annual Miss 91茄子 Competition will be held Saturday, November 18 at 6:00 p.m., and the 4th annual Miss 91茄子鈥檚 Teen Competition will be held Sunday, November 19 at 11:00 a.m. All competitions will be held in Brown Auditorium, 4001 Desiard St. in Monroe. Individual tickets for each competition are $5, and tickets for all three competitions are $12. Tickets can be purchased at 听

鈥淭he Miss 91茄子 Competition is a longstanding tradition for the University,鈥� said Meghan Olinger, Director of 91茄子 Titleholders. 鈥淚t began in 1954 and has grown to become one of the most respected titles at 91茄子. This program has grown to include 2 partner titles for Miss 91茄子. The Mister 91茄子 Competition began in 2018 and this year the 6th Mr. 91茄子 will be crowned. In 2020 the Titleholder program expanded to include Miss 91茄子鈥檚 Teen. 91茄子 is the only University to have a Teen titleholder and we will be crowning our 4th Miss 91茄子鈥檚 Teen this year,鈥� added Olinger.听

The Mr. 91茄子 Competition will feature three delegates, while the Miss 91茄子 Competition will feature seven delegates, and the Miss 91茄子鈥檚 Teen will feature eight delegates.听听
